    I like deep cutaways but dislike narrow-body Fodera designs or their clones.

    Mmmm.... :/
    I think the lower end of body must be wider, close to semi-hollow guitar dimensions. Some narrow bodies looks like they were cut to fit the case or luthier forgot about upper cutaway on DC body.
    So here is my Scott French-like guitar. I used curve with minimum of knots (My early work with graphic editor).
